Modellbau Veit 71011 steam locomotive 99 4511 Rügenvariante DR, Ep. III Product Details
The steam locomotive 99 4511 (Rügen variant), Ba Cn2T of the German Reichsbahn is characterized by the successful detailed and prototypical appearance, which is underlined by the fine set lines and struts. The finished model is digitally prepared via six solder points. The locomotive has an in-house coupler mount and is powered by a Faulhaber motor.
The last clandestine new construction steam locomotive for the DR was put into service on Rügen in 1966. On January 4, 1967, the locomotive was assigned to the stock of Bw Wittenberge. From this point on, the locomotive was a permanent fixture on the Prignitz narrow gauge railroads. The locomotive was taken out of service on March 6, 1973. In 1998, IG Preßnitztalbahn purchased 99 4511 and rebuilt the locomotive. It went back into service in Jöhstadt on May 18, 2002. Our model is available true to the original for all applications
