The Piko Halberstadt 2nd class middle entry coach is an authentic representative of the passenger service of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) in Era IV. It supplements the well-known model family with another car for realistic train sets with typical GDR flair - perfect for branch line and main line use.

Model features - realistic, robust, ready to run

The car offers an individually designed interior, free-standing steps and handrails as well as first-class rolling characteristics. Interior lighting can be retrofitted thanks to the integrated preparation (suitable set available separately). The model is true to scale with a running height of 303 mm.

Suitable for H0 DC layouts with a minimum radius of 358 mm. The car has an NEM shaft with close coupler link and can be easily integrated into classic DR train formations - whether individually or with other mid-entry cars and matching locomotives such as the class 110, 118 or 106.
