Novelty 2023: Print version of the BR 55 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn Gesellschaft in Era II. The PIKO model impresses with the finest paintwork and printing, successful mold construction and a harmonious implementation of the prototype machine. Many applied details, such as the locomotive whistle, free-standing lines and piston protection tubes, should be emphasized. The PIKO BR 55 has a digitally switchable light change that works depending on the direction of travel, a heavy die-cast zinc frame and a powerful motor for excellent driving characteristics. A close locomotive-tender distance is obligatory with PIKO models. Thanks to the integrated Next18 interface, retrofitting a digital decoder and sound is possible in a few simple steps, and the model has TT close couplers!
