With the PIKO 47152, the manufacturer brings the traditional steam locomotive BR 91.3 (formerly Prussian T 9.3) in the design of the Czechoslovakian state railroad ČSD to the model railway layout - a piece of European railroad history for TT gauge. This tender locomotive was not only a proven workhorse in Germany, but was also transferred to neighboring countries after the Second World War and continued to be operated there - including in Czechoslovakia.

Historical role model with international significance

The T 9.3 was one of the most frequently built tender locomotives in Germany - robust, reliable and versatile. Over 2,000 units were delivered to the Prussian State Railway alone, with additional orders from other railroad administrations. The ČSD used several of these locomotives for passenger and freight services, supplementing its locomotive fleet in the post-war period.

The locomotive is equipped with a NEM 662 Next18 digital interface and is prepared for the installation of a PIKO sound decoder. The cab lighting can be switched separately in digital operation. The light changes in white and red depending on the direction of travel using modern LED technology. Two traction tires provide reliable traction, even on demanding routes.
