Piko 50673 H0 Steam Locomotive Series 11, EST, Ep. II - French Prussian with Character

The Piko H0 steam locomotive series 11 of the EST (État) is a beautifully shaped conversion of the Prussian T14, as it was used in several European countries after the First World War. The locomotive is based on the proven G 8.1 and was developed for heavy suburban and freight traffic. In this version as a French series 11, it presents itself in an Era II look - ideal for international model railroad scenes.

Detailing & technology at the highest level

The model impresses with its fine spoked wheels, separately applied parts such as handle bars and cables as well as a filigree control system. The lovingly designed cab interior is equipped with digitally switchable lighting (with decoder retrofitting). The locomotive is also prepared for a steam generator, the function is already integrated at the factory.

Historical variety of the T14 - in use internationally

In the 1910s, the Prussian T14 was a modern tender locomotive for heavy-duty local traffic. After the Second World War, many of these locomotives were acquired by international railroad administrations, including the EST in France. There they were given the designation "Série 11" and were used until the 1950s.

Digital & functionally expandable

The model has an NEM 658 PluX22 interface for simple digitalization. The cab and running gear lighting can be controlled digitally using a suitable decoder (not included). A PIKO sound decoder (#56603) can also be retrofitted as an option. The lights change in white/red depending on the direction of travel.
