This DB AG jack-of-all-trades is now also available as a PIKO Expert model. The modern design of the locomotive has been reproduced exactly. The single-arm pantographs have been reproduced in extremely delicate detail. Sharply engraved bogies round off the visual appearance. Brake hoses that can be retrofitted are included to complete the set. A powerful, 5-pole motor ensures a smooth ride. Equipped with two flywheels, the PIKO BR 101 is extremely smooth-running. Two diagonally mounted traction tires provide traction when moving forward. Technical highlights are the built-in cab and cab lighting. The light changes depending on the direction of travel in red/white, of course using the latest LED technology. These functions can be switched separately in digital operation. Simple digitalization is already prepared using the PluX22 plug-in interface.
