Piko 51541 electric locomotive BR 191, DB, Ep. IV (digital, without sound) /AC

Electric locomotives with rod drives are among the highlights on the model railroad layout. The often archaic appearance and the visible power transmission radiate the fascination of past railroad eras. PIKO has captured this perfectly and transferred it to the 1:87 scale. The constructive symbiosis of outstanding model realization and excellent driving characteristics characterize the newly developed PIKO E 91. The sharp engravings of the body, paired with extremely fine printing and garnished with extremely filigree pantographs make the locomotive a gem. It draws power from a powerful PIKO motor, two finely balanced flywheels ensure continuous travel even on difficult track conditions. Of course, the model has a light change in LED technology with red end lighting. Additional lighting functions can be switched by retrofitting a digital decoder; a PluX22 interface in accordance with NEM 658 is available for simple installation.
