Piko 51622 electric locomotive Rh 1044, ÖBB, Ep. IV (incl. sound)

With the newly designed PIKO 1044/1144, authentic models of the high order numbers of this series will be available in 1:87 for the first time. The characteristic locomotive face of the former ÖBB showpiece has been excellently captured in the model realization, as has the striking side section of the vehicles, which, with the distinctive beading and the typical "portholes", definitely posed a challenge to the mold construction. The resulting impression of an ideal visual effect is continued in the bogies of the locomotive. Last but not least, the new 1044 is also technically impressive: A five-pole PIKO motor with two finely balanced flywheels on the shaft ensures smooth propulsion. The model is equipped with an authentic vehicle sound ex works. The nowadays obligatory light change was realized in contemporary LED technology. However, the lighting of the driver's cab and driver's desk, which is also available on the PIKO model and can be switched digitally, is not a matter of course.
