Piko 51633 electric locomotive Rh 1144.2, ÖBB, Ep. VI (incl. sound) AC current/AC

Version of the Rh 1044 in the version as Rh 1144.2 of the ÖBB in Era VI. All the special features and details of the original were taken into account in the reproduction of the Rh 1144.2. With the newly designed PIKO 1044/1144, authentic models of the high order numbers of this class will be available in 1:87 for the first time. The characteristic locomotive face of the former ÖBB showpiece has been excellently captured in the model conversion, as has the striking side section of the vehicles, which with its pronounced beading and typical "portholes" posed quite a challenge for the mold construction. The resulting impression of an ideal visual effect is continued in the bogies of the locomotive. Last but not least, the new 1144 is also technically impressive: A five-pole PIKO motor with two finely balanced flywheels on the shaft ensures smooth propulsion. Model railroaders who prefer digital operation benefit from the mfx®-capable PluX22 sound decoder, which is already installed ex works in the sound version. The nowadays obligatory light change has been implemented in contemporary LED technology, as has the attractive driver's cab lighting. However, the driver's cab lighting, which is also present on the PIKO model and can be switched in digital mode, is not a matter of course.
