The 245 is a model of the production version, which differs from the pre-production locomotives in the number and design of the roof and side ventilators and the chimney. Particularly precisely manufactured parts and assemblies, such as the solid die-cast zinc frame, etched metal ventilation grilles, the prototypically detailed bogies and numerous, free-standing, attached parts, such as the front grab irons, should be emphasized. The model has white/red headlights. Sound locomotive with a built-in locomotive sound decoder. The decoder has a total of 23 switchable functions. Many sounds typical of locomotives such as engine sounds, signal horns, brake squealing, shunting and other sounds such as station announcements can be called up individually.
