With the DB class 260 diesel locomotives, PIKO continues its series of excellently detailed models based on DB classics. The PIKO model convinces with its successful mold construction without disturbing mold separation edges and the coherent implementation of all relevant details of the prototype. The PIKO model of the shunting locomotive has straight, precisely aligned platforms, a buffer storage for silky smooth shunting runs without unwanted power interruptions and lighting by means of LEDs. The cab lights and the front and rear lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be switched digitally with PluX22 decoders. The heavy model with a die-cast zinc frame has a five-pole motor for excellent driving characteristics and high tractive forces. A retrofit with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker is prepared on the clearly designed circuit board with PluX22 interface. Attachable dummy brake hoses are included with the model.
