With the DB class 260 diesel locomotives, PIKO continues its series of excellently detailed models based on DB classics. The PIKO model impresses with its successful mold construction without disturbing mold parting lines and the harmonious implementation of all relevant details of the prototype machine. The PIKO model of the shunting locomotive has straight, precisely aligned platforms, a buffer tank for silky-smooth shunting movements without unwanted power interruptions and lighting by means of LEDs. The cab lighting and the front and rear lights that work depending on the direction of travel can be switched. The heavy model with a die-cast zinc frame has a five-pole motor for excellent driving characteristics and high tractive forces. The model also has extensive digital equipment ex works with authentic vehicle sound and a digitally controllable coupling.
