The decoder was specially developed for models such as the G 1700 and combines high-quality sound technology with precise motor control. This results in realistic operating sounds and particularly smooth running characteristics.
Compatible with many digital systems
The Smart Sound Decoder XP supports all common digital formats such as DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola and basic mfx® capability. This means it can be used flexibly with many digital control centers.
Thanks to Plug & Play, a suitable digital central unit automatically recognizes the decoder and registers it without any complicated set-up.
Precise motor control and flexible function assignment
The auto-adaptive motor control ensures smooth and sensitive driving characteristics. Functions up to F68 can be individually configured via the extended function mapping.
A decoder-internal bidirectional coupling also enables sound-dependent control of the motor and individual function outputs, resulting in particularly realistic operating sequences.
Impressive sound quality
The decoder offers realistic soundscapes via eight sound channels with a total duration of up to eight minutes. This allows numerous operating noises and additional sound effects to be reproduced.
