The PIKO SmartDecoder XP Sound is the ideal solution for model railroaders who want to equip their electric locomotive E669.1 of the CSD with authentic sound and the latest digital technology. The decoder is already equipped with a suitable sound profile and is supplied with speakers with the largest possible membrane surface - for an impressive sound image on an H0 scale.
Broad digital compatibility and simple commissioning
The decoder supports all common data formats such as DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola and basic mfx® functionality. Thanks to Plug & Play, registration with suitable digital control centers is quick and uncomplicated. The digital interface complies with the NEM 658 PluX22 standard and therefore fits into many modern locomotives.
Powerful motor control and individual function control
The auto-adaptive motor control ensures sensitive and smooth driving behavior. The extended function mapping up to function F68 allows individual function assignments to be implemented precisely. A decoder-internal bidirectional coupling allows sound-dependent control of the motor and function outputs - for a perfectly synchronized driving experience.
Powerful sound with a big effect
The integrated sound chip offers an intensive sound experience via up to 8 channels with a total length of up to 8 minutes. The enclosed speaker with a particularly large diaphragm area ensures an exceptionally full sound reproduction that realistically supports the driving experience on the system.
Reliable operation and modern driving functions
Innovative power management ensures trouble-free driving, even in the event of brief power interruptions. The decoder supports all common braking distance modes as well as ABC slow speed and ABC automatic shuttle train. Improved temperature distribution also extends the service life of the components.
Updateable for future extensions
The PIKO SmartDecoder XP Sound can be updated via the PIKO SmartProgrammer (item no. 56415) or the PSCwlan module (item no. 55821). This means that future function updates and extensions are possible at any time - for maximum investment security and flexibility.
