The PIKO 57847 is a precise replica of the BR 1116 "Taurus" electric locomotive in the version of the Hungarian Rail Cargo Hungaria (RCH). The H0 model impresses with two finely detailed single-arm pantographs made of metal, a realistic view of the driver's cab and a robust design. It is perfectly suited for DC layouts in modern Era VI and is prepared for retrofitting with a sound decoder.
Prototype: Class 1116 - all-rounder in international rail freight traffic
The class 1116 locomotives, better known as "Taurus", are powerful multi-system locomotives from the EuroSprinter family.
