Novelty 2023: As with the prototype, the S499.02 is also a further development of the legendary "Laminátka" in the model. Both model series share the sublime model quality. This becomes clear in the precise reproduction of the locomotive body with the eye-catching fan belt, the engraving of which conveys maximum plasticity in the model. The engine room windows above are perfectly flush-mounted. A special feature is the framing of the front windows, which is done justice to in the 1:87 scale with separately inserted frames. The vents next to the windows were also designed as individual parts to match this. Apart from its external qualities, the model is also technically impressive. Among the lighting functions, the undercarriage lighting with the filigree lamp glasses is particularly noteworthy. The model is factory-equipped with a PIKO digital decoder. This means that lighting in the driver's cabs, the instrument panels and the engine room can also be switched.
