About the model: The class 107 switching locomotive is a German State Railroad model and is from Era IV. It has a digital interface (PluX12) and 3 headlights and 2 marker lights (changing with the direction of travel). The finished model is 144.5 mm long and is factory-fitted with a close coupler.
The prototype: The T 435.0 series has been built by CKT in Prague since 1958. The ČSD put 150 units into service. A further 83 machines were delivered to industrial companies. In 1962, the DR procured 20 diesel locomotives of this type for shunting service at Leipzig Central Station. 18 locomotives were also sold to GDR industrial companies. In addition to scheduled shunting duties, they could also be seen in front of local freight trains, construction trains and occasionally even passenger trains. In 1970, the class V75 was given the new computerized class designation 107.
