Description

Quack & Salber 171303-070101-1302 TT Sächsischer O3, 32961, K.Sächs.Sts.E.B., Ep. I Product Details

Quack & Salber 171303-070101-1302 - TT Saxon O3, 32961, K.Sächs.Sts.E.B., Era I

To mark the fifth anniversary of their model railroad debut, Quack & Salber are presenting another detailed new edition of their first successful model with the open goods wagon O3, wagon number 32961. The Saxon O3 now appears in an unbraked version for the first time - naturally in a scale of 1:120 for TT layouts. This collector's model from Era I impresses with its realistic design and subtle historical allusions.

Historical prototype from the early days of the railroad

The prototype of the O3 dates from the years 1891 to 1909 and was manufactured according to Prussian drawing II d2. The Royal Saxon State Railways (K.Sächs.Sts.E.B.) combined several open freight wagons with a load weight of 15 tons under the designation O3. They had an axle base of around 4.50 meters - a typical dimension for these wagon types. The model with the fictitious wagon number 32961 is based on the design with the serial number 416.

Improved new edition with modern model maker features

The model has been extensively revised compared to the original version released in 2020. It now features a prototypical gray frame, shaded lettering, including on the solebars, and a removable coal load. The unbraked version is included in the range for the first time and opens up new design possibilities on historical layouts.

Finest craftsmanship for the highest demands

Like all Quack & Salber models, this O3 wagon is also painstakingly handcrafted. The dimensional accuracy, coloring and lettering meet the highest standards for true-to-scale collector's models. This means that this wagon is not only an eye-catcher on TT layouts of Era I, but is also ideal for display in showcases.

A model with history - not a toy

This model is designed for adults and is not suitable as a toy. It contains delicate parts, sharp edges and small parts that could be swallowed. It is therefore only recommended for children aged 14 and over.
