Description

Quack & Salber 171303-070102-1304 TT Sächsischer O3, 31124, K.Sächs.Sts.E.B., Ep. I Product Details

Quack & Salber 171303-070102-1304 - TT Saxon O3, 31124, K.Sächs.Sts.E.B., Era I

With the TT model of the open goods wagon O3, wagon number 31124, with brakeman's cab, Quack & Salber present a further refined version of their popular anniversary series. This detailed collector's item on a scale of 1:120 reproduces a typical freight wagon of the Royal Saxon State Railways (K.Sächs.Sts.E.B.) from Era I - and impresses with the finest printing, realistic design and historical authenticity.

Model with history: The O3 class

The model is based on real open goods wagons that were built between 1891 and 1909 according to Prussian drawing II d2. The K.Sächs.Sts.E.B. combined several of these 15-ton wagons with an axle base of approx. 4.50 m under the class designation O3. The car number 31124 was chosen for the model - derived from the serial number 416 of a design of this type.

Detailed new edition with many improvements

Quack & Salber have revised numerous details to mark the anniversary of their first model series: The O3 wagon now has a prototypical gray frame, shaded lettering also on the solebars and a removable coal load. The variant with brakeman's cab has also been equipped with a light-colored roof and painted boards on the brakeman's platform - for even more realism on the TT layout.

Handcrafted model construction quality for the highest demands

As with all of the manufacturer's models, this is also a handmade collector's item that combines true to scale, precision and high design standards. The wagon is suitable both for operation in historical freight trains of Era I and for sophisticated display case presentation.

A piece of Saxon railroad tradition

The O3 with brakeman's cab brings the everyday operation of the Saxon railroads around 1900 to life in the model world. With its fine detailing and authentic appearance, this model is a special addition to any TT collection with a historical focus.
