Description

Quack & Salber 171303-070102-1305 TT Sächsischer O3, 35847, K.Sächs.Sts.E.B., Ep. I Product Details

Quack & Salber 171303-070102-1305 - TT Saxon O3, 35847, K.Sächs.Sts.E.B., Era I

With wagon number 35847, Quack & Salber is launching another particularly detailed version of the historic Saxon O3 freight wagon - including brakeman's cab! This new anniversary edition on a scale of 1:120 (TT) impresses with its true-to-original design, the finest printing and numerous model highlights that make it a must-have for collectors and fans of Era I.

True to the original and historically inspired

Like all wagons in the O3 series, the model is based on an open goods wagon of the K.Sächs.Sts.E.B., which was built between 1891 and 1909 according to Prussian drawing II d2. These wagons had a load weight of 15 tons and were grouped under the class O3. The wagon number 35847 used is based on the serial number 416 within a real existing design.

Anniversary model with new details

The new edition contains a large number of improvements: A prototypical gray wagon frame, fine, shaded lettering also on the solebars and a removable coal load are just as much a part of it as the bright brakeman's roof and the painted boards on the brakeman's platform - small but effective details that make the model look even more authentic.

Fine model making - handcrafted

The car is handcrafted in the tried and tested manner of Quack & Salber. With its high-quality design, it is aimed at discerning model railroaders who want to enrich their TT layout with historically accurate vehicles - or at collectors who place particular value on exclusive, authentic models.

Historical everyday railroad life in miniature

Thanks to the attached brakeman's cab, this model offers additional design options for train sets from Era I. It clearly shows how earlier railroad carriages were constructed and can be ideally integrated into operating sequences or display case scenes. The light-colored roof design gives the car a characteristic appearance.
