Roco 3-piece set 2: D 377 "Hispania-Express" DB

The "Hispania Express" ran between Copenhagen from 1963 and then between Hamburg and Port Bou from 1969. In Germany, it was operated as an accelerated express train with a maximum speed of 160 km/h from this time on, as otherwise only TEE and F or IC trains were operated.The train is reproduced for the 1976/77 timetable year, as the "Hispania" carried a particularly large number of 1st/2nd class coaches (ABüm) in this year, the typical Deutsche Bundesbahn coaches. In order to reach the 160 km/h speed limit, the cars, including the first examples in ocean blue/beige, had to be extensively equipped with magnetic rail brakes.
