Roco 4-piece set: SNCF passenger train

When the Deutsche Reichsbahn replaced most of the old coaches in the 1970s with new-build and reconstruction coaches, the last four-axle express coaches of the standard design from the years of construction 1928-1932 were combined to form the traditional train of the Deutsche Reichsbahn.The three 2nd class coaches and the associated luggage coach were used in regular train operations in Greifswald until 1977. The combined 1st/2nd class coach was parked in Dresden-Pieschen at this time. This train set thus comprised the only DR express train coaches still in service with a central gangway and bellows gangway. This resulted in the coach set known as the "Zwickauer Traditionszug".In 1985, the anniversary year of the railroad, an important step was taken in the preservation of museum vehicles with the complete restoration of the traditional train. The members of the AG at that time played an important role in ensuring that the traditional train attracted a great deal of attention beyond the borders of the country.
