Roco 70376 diesel railcar 810 458-0 with sidecar, CD, Ep. V

In order to replace the M 131.1 series railcars, which were no longer up to date, the Czechoslovak State Railways procured new two-axle diesel railcars with the series designation M 152.0. The vehicles, which were delivered in series starting in 1975, were powered by a 155 kW six-cylinder in-line engine and reached a maximum speed of 80 km/h. The passenger compartments had 56 seats. There were 56 seats available in the passenger compartment.

In the course of time, many color variants were created. The variant with a beige belly band became established on the Czechoslovak State Railways in the 1980s. After the division of the CSD, the railcars, with and without sidecars, were also in service on all branch lines of the Czech State Railways (CD).
