After being equipped with the Netherlands package in 2008, 189 091 was leased to RRF by MRCE for almost three years. As a result, it was painted in the eye-catching G&W design (Genesee & Wyoming Inc.) in July 2020 and used for cross-border freight services between the Netherlands and Germany.
