Roco 70795 electric locomotive BR 141, DB AG, Ep. V (incl. sound)

The class E 41/141 locomotives were first delivered in 1956 for light mixed service on main and branch lines. They were the only series in the standard locomotive program to be equipped with a switching mechanism on the low-voltage side of the transformer. The switching mechanism had a characteristic noise development, which, in addition to the large tractive force jumps, led to the nickname "Knallfrosch".
