With the Roco 7100037 class Pt 2/3 steam locomotive, you can bring a real highlight of Bavarian railroad history to your H0 model railroad. The striking tender locomotive of the Royal Bavarian State Railways, set in Era I, impresses with its slim boiler, the strikingly large driver's cab and the unique door at the rear of the locomotive - a rare, functional detail for the service of the stoker as conductor.
Elaborately painted with movable Heusinger controls
The model has a fine, elaborate paint scheme and decorative lines that emphasize its elegant appearance. The movable Heusinger control system not only gives the locomotive additional authenticity, but also dynamics in operation. Its compact design with a length of 107 mm makes it ideal for regional branch line scenes and smaller layouts.
True to the original with a historical background
Between 1909 and 1916, a total of 97 Pt 2/3 locomotives were built by Krauss in Munich. The type 1 B h2 was designed for light passenger traffic on branch lines and reached a top speed of 65 km/h. The large wheelbase of 4,000 mm between the running and coupling axles is a technical feature that also makes the locomotive visually unmistakable. Its design was a response to the increased demand for flexible, powerful tender locomotives with a low axle load.
Technically solidly equipped
The locomotive is equipped with a 2 headlight that changes depending on the direction of travel. Two axles are driven and a flywheel mass ensures smooth running characteristics. The NEM 362 coupler pocket with close coupling kinematics facilitates integration into existing train sets. Thanks to the NEM 651 interface, the model can easily be digitally retrofitted.
Perfect addition for Era I trains
The Pt 2/3 is the ideal locomotive for use in front of Bavarian local railroad cars. The combination with the passenger cars item no. 6200197 is particularly recommended to create a harmonious historical train set. The locomotive's elegant shape and historical significance make it a real eye-catcher on model layouts.
