Roco 7190009 TT steam locomotive 86 1435-6, DR, Ep. IV, DC-sound Product Details
The Roco steam locomotive 86 1435-6 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn in Era IV is a new construction with a finely detailed model that has many separately applied plug-in parts. The locomotive has long cut-out water boxes and is based in Rbd Halle, Bw Röblingen. In digital operation, it also has switchable cab lighting.
From 1928 to 1943, almost all German locomotive factories delivered a total of 775 locomotives of this series to the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft. The 1,000 hp locomotives were designed for speeds of 70-80 km/h and could also be used on main and feeder lines in addition to their main area of application on branch lines. At the beginning of the 1950s, 164 class 86 locomotives were still available in the GDR, and in 1970 162 locomotives were given a computerized road number; they were phased out from 1973.
