The 2143 - ÖBB all-rounder on non-electrified lines

The locomotives of the 2143 series were manufactured by the Simmering-Graz-Pauker works between 1964 and 1977. With 77 machines built, they were used on numerous main and branch lines. The 2143 047 depicted here belongs to the third series with a straight frame - a feature that clearly distinguishes it from its predecessor series.

The locomotive impresses with its striking design in the Valousek design of ÖBB Era V as well as numerous separately applied components.
