Roco 7310003 diesel locomotive T 466 2050, CSD, Ep. IV

In the 1970s, the former Czechoslovakian State Railways (ČSD) had a great need for powerful diesel freight locomotives for medium-duty shunting and mainline service. As a result, the lighter T 466.2 variant was derived from the industrial locomotive type T 448. It was manufactured by ČKD in Prague from 1977 in nine series (each with minor differences) with 494 units and was put into service by ČSD until 1986.
