Roco 7390011 TT 2-tlg Set: diesel locomotiven 111 018-8 und 111 019-6, DR, Ep. IV

The Roco 2-part set consists of the 111 018-8 and 111 019-6 diesel locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) in Era IV. These models represent the delivery condition of 1982 and are fully equipped. Characteristic details such as free-standing, filigree grab irons and ladders are included as etched parts.

The DR ordered 37 heavy shunting locomotives from LEW Henningsdorf at the end of the 1970s. These were produced in three batches from 1981 to 1983 and had a 1,000 HP engine and a transmission with a modified gear ratio, which limited the maximum speed to 65 km/h. In order to make shunting operations safer, railings were attached to the front ends of the locomotives. Both locomotives in this set are digitized and have switchable light functions.
