With the T 679.1273, Roco is bringing one of the best-known ČSD diesel locomotives to the TT scale in a sonorous version. This locomotive known as "Sergej" impresses with its typical shape, powerful technology and digitally switchable sound functions - ideal for realistic scenarios from the heavy freight traffic of Era IV.
Powerful performance for heavy trains
From 1966, the ČSD procured a total of 599 T 679 locomotives, most of which were used on standard gauge, some also as T 679.5 in broad gauge versions. The locomotives were primarily used in front of heavy freight trains - an authentic picture that is also impressive on the model railroad.
True to the original down to the last detail
The model is painted true to the original with small yellow warning bars on the front and in the version with a silencer. The finely detailed implementation and the clean printing make the locomotive a visual highlight on the TT layout.
Digital technology with a rich sound
Equipped with an NEM 651 digital decoder, the model offers realistic sound functions that can be switched digitally. The 5-pole motor with flywheel mass, six powered axles and two traction tires ensure reliable driving characteristics - even in front of long trains.
