Skoda freight locomotive for modern operation

The Rh 121 goes back to the proven Skoda series E 469.1, which was designed from the 1960s for the former ČSD. With a continuous output of 2,032 kW and a top speed of 90 km/h, the locomotive was ideally suited for heavy freight train service. Even after ČSD was split up, many locomotives remained in service with the newly founded České dráhy (ČD).
