Roco 7500164 H0 Electric locomotive 141 152-9, DB, Ep. IV-V - The "firecracker" in oriental red livery
With the Roco 7500164 141 152-9 electric locomotive, you can bring a striking model of the German Federal Railroad from eras IV-V to your H0 layout. The locomotive is painted in the popular oriental red livery with an eye-catching "bib" and represents the typical everyday operation on German main lines between the 1980s and early 2000s. Finely crafted details and technical reliability make this locomotive a real highlight for collectors and operating railroaders alike.
Prototype with character - the class 141
The class E 41 (from 1968: 141) was the only locomotive family in the standard locomotive program that had a switching mechanism on the low-voltage side of the transformer. This design was notorious for its loud switching noises - hence the nickname "Knallfrosch". With an output of 2,310 kW and a top speed of 120 km/h, it was very versatile, especially in local and regional transport.
Model with high-quality equipment
The model of the 141 152-9 is richly detailed and has etched gangways, fine windshield wipers and separately applied components. The locomotive is equipped with a 5-pole motor, flywheel and four driven axles - one axle has traction tires for additional traction. The lighting includes a 3 headlights depending on the direction of travel and two red marker lights with LED technology.
Technology with practical functions
The head and tail lights can be switched independently via DIP switches, ideal for use in push-pull operation or as a push-pull locomotive. The locomotive has a PluX22 interface for easy digitization. Thanks to the NEM 362 shaft with close coupler kinematics, a flexible coupler configuration is guaranteed.
Historically consistent for Era IV and V
Locomotive 141 152 was repainted shortly after the introduction of the orient red color scheme in November 1987 and retained this appearance until it was retired at the end of 2002. This model therefore covers two important model railroad eras and is ideal for trains in regional transport from the late Bundesbahn era to the early DB AG.
