Roco 7520164 H0 electric loco 141 152-9, DB, Ep. IV-V, AC-Sound Product Details
Roco 7520164 H0 Electric locomotive 141 152-9, DB, Ep. IV-V, AC sound - The "firecracker" with an oriental red appearance and rich sound
With the Roco 7520164 electric locomotive 141 152-9, AC railroaders get a powerful-sounding version of the well-known standard locomotive in a striking oriental red design. The locomotive impresses with technical reliability, the finest detailing and an authentic sound - ideal for operation on Märklin-compatible layouts. The characteristic sound of the switching steps, which earned the class the nickname "Firecracker", is reproduced realistically thanks to the digital decoder.
Class 141 - an icon of local transport
From its delivery in 1956, the E 41 (from 1968: 141) was used for light and mixed passenger services. Its special feature: a switching mechanism on the low-voltage side of the transformer, which made for distinctive switching noises. The 141 152 was repainted in the DB's oriental red color scheme early on and remained in active service until 2002 - ideal for scenes from the late Bundesbahn era and early DB AG.
Attention to detail meets modern technology
The model is equipped with etched walkways, finely reproduced windshield wipers and numerous attached components. The locomotive is driven by two axles with two traction tires for high tractive power. Thanks to the flywheel mass, the locomotive runs particularly smoothly and reliably, even at low speeds. The lighting is completely LED and can be switched separately in digital mode - including the driver's cab lighting.
Digital sound for a realistic experience
A PluX22 digital decoder not only controls the driving functions, but also the comprehensive soundscape. The characteristic switching noises, traction motor sounds and other noises make operating the 141 152-9 on your AC system an acoustic experience. The model really comes into its own, especially in combination with matching silver cars or commuter cars.
For Märklin layouts with high demands
The locomotive is designed for AC operation and, with its length of 180 mm, fits perfectly into the 1:87 scale. With a minimum radius of 358 mm, it is suitable for all standard track systems. Coupling is via NEM 362 shafts with close coupler link - ideal for realistic train formations in local and regional traffic in eras IV and V.
