The Roco 7500165 electric locomotive 1750 brings the modern design of the Dutch private railroad Rail Force One directly to the model railroad. With numerous separately applied details, innovative pantograph attachment and the finest printing, this model is a highlight for all those who want to authentically recreate the current freight and passenger traffic of Era VI.

Prototype and use

The Dutch rail transport company Rail Force One took over six locomotives from Locon Nederland in 2017. Locomotive 1750 received its current paint scheme in the Rail Force One design in the summer of 2025. With this striking color scheme, it is a striking eye-catcher in European rail traffic both in freight traffic and in special train operation.

Detailed model design

The model impresses with its particularly fine design: many separately attached components are partially produced using etching technology, which gives the locomotive a high level of visual depth. The printing in the Rail Force One color scheme is razor-sharp and high-contrast. The air conditioning system is reproduced on the roof, which adds to the appearance of this locomotive.

Technical equipment

The locomotive is powered by a powerful motor with a flywheel, which ensures smooth running characteristics. Four axles are powered, one with traction tires for additional traction. The direction-dependent 3 headlights / 2 tail lights are equipped with modern LED technology and provide bright, energy-saving lighting. The model can be easily digitized via the PluX22 interface. It is therefore ideally prepared for both classic analog operation and modern digital operation.

With a length of 201 mm over buffers and a minimum radius of 358 mm, the locomotive is suitable for a wide range of applications on H0 layouts. Whether for freight traffic, international use or as part of a modern private railway fleet - the Rail Force One 1750 makes a strong visual and technical statement on any model railway layout.
