Roco 7520146 H0 Electric locomotive BB 15000, SNCF, Ep. V-VI, AC sound
Are you looking for a striking French electric locomotive with character and history? The Roco BB 15060 from the SNCF brings the legendary design of the "nez cassé" to life in your H0 layout - in a new design version with AC sound and many finely crafted details.
Cult locomotive with a "broken nose"
The unmistakable design of the BB 15000 was created by the famous designer Paul Arzens and became a symbol of French electric locomotives in the 1970s. Between 1971 and 1976, Alstom built a total of 65 of these machines, which were designed exclusively for the alternating current system. They were regarded as technical milestones - with two driver's cabs but only one pantograph.
Model in multiservice look with a new shape
The Roco version of the BB 15060 has the silver-grey multiservice design of the SNCF, with smooth side walls without address panels. The locomotive bears the "Creil" emblem and has a prototypical roof design with filigree pantographs. Another special feature is the front with an additional connection box for the push-pull control - a real shape variant!
Digital functions for realistic operations
Equipped with a PluX22 interface, digital sound decoder and LED technology, the model offers extensive functions in AC digital operation. The headlights can be switched digitally according to the French model - as can the driver's cab lighting. The powerful 5-pole motor drives two axles, two traction tires provide the necessary traction and a flywheel mass ensures smooth running.
A technical & visual highlight
With a length over buffers of 201 mm, a minimum radius of 358 mm and NEM coupler pockets with KK kinematics, the locomotive can be easily integrated into French or international train formations of eras V and VI - whether in front of Corail coaches, night trains or Intercités.
