With the Roco 7520182 electric locomotive of the 1216 series in Railjet design, you can bring a high-tech model of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) to your H0 layout. The "Taurus 3" type multi-system locomotive stands for powerful long-distance transportation at home and abroad - here as an AC version with sound and electric coupler, ideal for push-pull operation with the matching Railjet control car.

Variant A of the 1216 016 is equipped with country packages for Austria, Germany, Italy and Slovenia - the model is correspondingly versatile. With an output of 6,400 kW and a top speed of 230 km/h, it stands for pure high-speed traffic - perfectly complemented by the matching new generation Roco Railjet coach set.

State-of-the-art technology - with electric coupling

One side of the locomotive is equipped with a four-pole electric coupling, which enables an electric connection in push-pull operation in conjunction with the corresponding Railjet control car. The current consumption between the locomotive and control car can be easily adjusted using a DIP switch.

Lighting & sound functions for maximum driving fun

The locomotive has a switchable 3 headlights / 2 tail lights with LEDs. The upper headlight can be switched off for use in Italy, just like the prototype. High beams and other light functions can also be switched in digital operation. The integrated sound decoder (PluX22) provides realistic operating sounds, including the traction motor, fan, horn and more.

Detailed appearance for the highest demands

The roof design is finely detailed with realistic pantographs and insulators. The underbody and the bogies feature prototypical engraving. With a flywheel, two traction tires and three powered axles, the locomotive is also technically equipped for demanding applications.
