Technical features & special functions

Both cars have switchable light functions including LED headlights, switchable interior lighting and additional light functions. Two powered axles with a flywheel ensure smooth running. A buffer capacitor ensures safe operation in the event of brief contact interruptions.

Historical background

The M 152.0 series was procured by the Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD) from 1975 to replace the outdated M 131.1 railcars. With 155 kW of power, a maximum speed of 80 km/h and 56 seats in the passenger compartment, these vehicles became the backbone of branch line transportation in the ČSSR. The 0262 railcar is a typical vehicle of the time in its original livery.

Compatibility & expansion options

The model is suitable for operation on digital DC systems and designed for radii from 358 mm. Thanks to the NEM 362 shaft with close coupler link, railcars and sidecars can be safely coupled and also used in combination with other vehicles.
