Roco 7790004 TT diesel railcar 810 472-1 with sidecar, CD, Ep. VI, DC-sound Product Details
The Roco diesel railcar 810 472-1 with sidecar of the Czech State Railways (CD) in Era VI is a form variant and is equipped with side mirrors on the motor car for the first time. The model comes in the current Najbrt livery, is equipped with interior lighting ex works and offers authentic sound functions.
To replace the obsolete M 131.1 series railcars, the Czechoslovak State Railways procured new two-axle diesel railcars under the designation M 152.0. These vehicles, which were delivered in series from 1975, were powered by a 155 kW six-cylinder in-line engine and reached a maximum speed of 80 km/h. Since 1988, the railcars have borne the model number 810. Model railway enthusiasts nicknamed the railcar the "bread box" due to its angular body.

Frequently asked questions
| Question: | Which model railway layouts is the Roco 7790004 suitable for? |
| Answer: | The diesel railcar with trailer is designed for TT-scale layouts at 1:120 and for digital two-rail DC systems. As a Czech Railways vehicle from Era VI, it is particularly suitable for modern branch-line and regional passenger scenes. |
| Question: | Does the model already include a digital decoder and sound? |
| Answer: | Yes, the railcar is equipped with a factory-installed Next18 digital decoder and integrated sound functions. Driving and operating sounds can therefore be used without an additional sound upgrade. |
| Question: | Which lighting functions does the railcar provide? |
| Answer: | The model features direction-dependent triple headlights and two LED tail lights. It also includes LED interior lighting that can be controlled separately in digital operation. |
| Question: | Which drive technology and running characteristics does the model offer? |
| Answer: | A five-pole motor powers two axles. The integrated flywheel supports smooth running, while the minimum operating radius of 286 mm allows the model to be used on relatively compact TT layouts. |
| Question: | Which dimensions and couplings should be considered? |
| Answer: | The railcar and trailer measure 232 mm over the buffers. NEM 358 coupling pockets with close-coupling mechanisms allow connection to compatible TT-scale rolling stock. |
