For the purpose of reloading wagonload goods from the full-gauge to the narrow-gauge wagons and vice versa, the tracks of the narrow-gauge railroad intended for overloading are elevated at the connecting stations and laid out as close as possible to the full-gauge loading tracks. These transfer tracks are partially covered. Transshipment takes place in freight sheds, into which a narrow-gauge track of appropriate length is introduced. (Ledig/Ulbricht, 1895)
