Description

Tillig 04943 TT Diesellokomotive BR 245, DB AG, Ep. VI Product Details

Are you looking for a modern diesel dream locomotive for your TT layout with the latest DB design?

The Tillig 04943 TT BR 245 diesel locomotive from DB AG is a cutting-edge 2026 novelty and brings modern railroad technology to your Era VI model railway world. With authentic paintwork, solid technology and high prototypical fidelity, this model is a must for every fan of powerful diesel locomotives in today's regional and long-distance traffic.

Model information & technical data

The model is designed for TT gauge on a scale of 1:120 and has a length over buffers of 156 mm. It weighs approx. 300 g including packaging. The locomotive is equipped with a PluX12 digital interface (NEM 658) and can be easily digitized. A sound retrofit is also prepared.

Technology & driving characteristics

Equipped with close-coupling kinematics and NEM coupler pockets, the locomotive can be realistically integrated into train formations. Two traction tires ensure optimum traction. The direction-dependent LED lighting - triple at the front and double at the rear - increases operational safety and visual realism on the layout.

Appearance & equipment features

The model impresses with its high-quality printing in the current DB AG design and the striking design of the class 245. Filigree engravings, finely implemented roof superstructures and realistic headlights give the locomotive an authentic appearance. It is perfectly suited for modern regional and intercity train compositions.

Prototype: Class 245 - modern four-engine diesel locomotive for local and long-distance traffic

The class 245 is a further development of the TRAXX platform from Bombardier and is used by DB AG in regional and long-distance services, including the SyltShuttle and on non-electrified main lines. Thanks to its four diesel engines, it offers high performance combined with improved energy efficiency.

For model railroaders with a focus on current technology and modern train formations

The Tillig BR 245 is ideal for anyone who wants to authentically represent Era VI - whether on branch lines, in the regional network or as a locomotive for modern passenger trains. A future-proof addition for digital and analog layouts in nominal size TT.
