With this add-on set and the 2 other add-ons 23281 and 23282, the basic unit of the RABe 501 Giruno, can be expanded to a true-to-the-original 11-car unit. The cars have standard interior lighting made of maintenance-free warm white LEDs. The interior lighting is powered by the continuous electrical connection of the entire train and can only be operated and digitally controlled in conjunction with the basic set. The two permanently coupled center cars have a guide mechanism in the Jakobs bogies
