Trix 23651 H0 Express Train Set 1 D 74, DB - A Historic Train Experience on the Way to Basel

The Trix 23651 Express Train Car Set 1 brings four authentically reproduced cars from the legendary D 74 Hamburg Altona - Basel SBB express train to your H0 layout. The set shows the train running on the Frankfurt - Basel section in operating condition around 1955. It combines German Federal Railroad (DB) cars with a sleeping car from the German Sleeping Car and Dining Car Company (DSG) - a perfect match for Era III and the class 01.10 steam locomotive with a new boiler.

Variety in the train set with true-to-scale realization

The set contains four detailed express train cars in full length scale:

• PwPost4ü - luggage and mail wagon (new design, DB version for the first time)
• ABC4ü - 1st/2nd/3rd class seating car (standard design 1928-30)
• WLAB4ü(e) - DSG apron sleeping car
• BC4üwe - 2nd/3rd class apron car

All of the cars are equipped with new close coupler heads for realistic, low buffer heights. Short bellows to represent the end of the train are included.

High-quality technology with LED lighting as standard

Each car is equipped with warm white LED interior lighting. Buffer capacitors ensure flicker-free light during short interruptions in the power supply. The models are designed for a minimum radius of 360 mm and are therefore suitable for all standard H0 layouts.

Historically correct with many details

Printed wagon running signs and order numbers as well as an enclosed fanfold with train order and wagon placement in the formation make this set an ideal component of a prototypical train run. The total length over buffers is approx. 103 cm.
