This allows the lighting functions on both sides of the locomotive to be controlled independently of one another. If the headlights on both sides of the locomotive are switched off, the double-A light function is available on both sides.

The various lighting functions complement the extensive sound functions and the digital decoder. High beams, cab lighting, three-light headlight, red tail lights, and double-A lighting can be used according to their intended functions.

Four driven axles and a rack-and-pinion coupler

The center motor drives all four axles of the locomotive. Together with the regulated high-performance drive and the traction tires, this design forms the technical foundation of the model. The buffer capacitor complements the drive by bridging short power outages.
