Model railroad manufacturer Trix is presenting a first-class model of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) EC 250 electric high-speed multiple unit as the RABe 501 "Giruno". The multiple unit consists of: 1 end car A (Bt1), 2nd class; 1 center car D (B9), 2nd class with pantograph; 1 center car E (B8), 2nd class; 1 center car F (B7), 2nd class, with handicapped entrances and pantograph; 1 center car G (WR6), with restaurant area; 1 center car H (A5), 1st class, with handicapped entrances and pantograph; 1 end car L (At2), 1st class. The prototype is also planned for Germany and Austria with approval. This is a presentation train with a striking Switzerland/Italy design on the end cars.
