Trix 25888 steam locomotive series 44 ÖBB, Ep. III

Prototype: Austrian Federal Railways (BBÖ) class 44 heavy freight steam locomotive with a standard 2'2'T34 coal tender. Black basic paint scheme. With Wagner wind deflectors of the standard design, Reichsbahn lamps, leading wheelset with spoked wheels, with smoke box central lock and without Indusi magnet. Locomotive road number 44 542. Operating condition around 1949.Model: The locomotive has a digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Regulated high-efficiency propulsion with a flywheel in the boiler. 5 axles powered. Traction tires. The locomotive and coal tender are constructed mostly of metal. The locomotive is equipped for the 7226 smoke unit. The dual headlights change over with the direction of travel and the smoke unit can be installed and will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. The cab lighting, firebox flickering, and flickering on the ash pan can also be controlled separately in digital operation. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. Close coupler with kinematics between the locomotive and tender. There is a close coupler with NEM shaft on the rear of the tender and on the front of the locomotive. Minimum passable radius 360 mm. Piston rod protection tubes, brake hoses, and screw coupler imitations are included. Length over buffers 26 cm.Highlights Shaped version. Version with Wagner wind deflectors. Air and feed pumps offset on the circulation. Prototypical change in shape of the circulation. The circulation runs at an angle down to the buffer beam at the smoke box. Open bar frame with a largely clear view between the running gear and boiler. High-performance propulsion with a flywheel in the boiler. With a RailCom-compatible DCC/mfx digital decoder.
