Christmas without the song "Silent Night! Holy Night!" is simply unimaginable. On December 24, 1818, the village school teacher Franz Xaver Gruber and the assistant priest Joseph Mohr performed this Christmas carol for the first time in the church of St. Nicholas in Oberndorf near Salzburg. At the turn of the century, the Church of St. Nicholas was demolished and the Silent Night Memorial Chapel was built in its place. The original Silent Night Memorial Chapel in scale 1: 160 N from Vollmer as a kit with many extras such as base bulb and artificial snow.
