The ZIMO digital command stations: not big "boxes", but state-of-the-art technology!

At first glance, the very small dimensions are noticeable, as well as the lack of heat sink and fan. Thanks to state-of-the-art power electronics - five high-frequency switching regulators for track outputs and auxiliary voltages - the device does not run hot despite 20 A on the track (continuous load!) and 5 A on the bus. At the same time, the ZIMO system takes into account applications where high currents could cause damage (N-gauge, ...): thanks to special circuit technology, short circuits on the track, when connected to the MX10, cause fewer sparks than with many weak digital systems. However, the ZIMO system offers more than just "lots of power": The processor, memory and software equipment, as well as high-quality measurement technology, for example for the precision RailCom detectors, lots of connections and the radio system integrated as standard make the typical ZIMO range of functions possible.
