The Arnold HN2662D train set offers an unusual addition for N-gauge layouts: a battery-powered towing vehicle (ASF) together with two matching silo wagons from the Stassfurt soda works in Era V. With a built-in multi-protocol digital decoder, this set enables reliable digital operation with minimum space requirements - ideal for industrial plants and factory traffic.
ASF - Special vehicle for factory traffic
The battery-powered towing vehicle, ASF for short, is an electrically powered shunting vehicle that was primarily used for internal traffic in industrial plants such as the Stassfurt soda works. Its small size and maneuverability make it perfect for confined shunting areas.
Digital shunting fun with attention to detail
The set contains two detailed Ucs type silo wagons that are a perfect match for the ASF. The decoder (NEM651) allows digital use, the ASF has white light and uses its own coupler pocket. With a length of only 19 mm over buffers, the ASF is ideal for compact operating environments.
