The HGe 4/4 5 locomotive is part of the former BVZ fleet (Brig-Visp-Zermatt Railway) and is one of the non-modernized locomotives in the series. It was chosen by the MGB as the advertising locomotive for the alpine play "The Matterhorn Story", which is being performed on the Riffelberg - the highest open-air stage in Europe. The production commemorates the dramatic first ascent of the Matterhorn in July 1865, which is regarded as the beginning of Alpine tourism.
